US MUSINGS 1,
First time i felt my mom had something more to say when they waived bye to me in the airport , probably they wanted to say thanks for going off , hehehe first fligt journey is always fun, i felt wheeling with my vehicle when the plane took off and felt like shitting when it landed. but i got used them .
After a long days journey me here. the journey was kind of exciting and tiring too, my airway was throug switzerland, had 5 hours break in swit-zurich so took transit visa and went out.They normally dont give this visa for few hours , but i requested too much whiich lead to doubt for him,,,god convice him in his langauge ,,, later he agreed and we had to pay 40 CNF.
Zurich is a very chill city(obviously) . it was like natural high AC around ,, as it was summer we could survive the cold. we took the local road train to roam over the city ... we could cover almost all spots of zurich in 4 hours( actually dont know the names) .The city is just like india(think mumbai) but very clean , low population so good transport, roads and neatness. bebes get a applause from my side , summer wears were great on them but i had a jerkin and skull cap on me huh. Zurich airport is an admirable with fast trains inside the airports.
19 hrs of G force on DP but still strong hehehe . had a real long 17 hr Day. no proper sleep ,,Swiss airlines is comfortable,but the crew members disturbed me a lot for food and drinks. The best part of my journey is over the atlantic ocean ,,, wow i could make out the ice slabs from 12000 mts height,,, clean blue sea and now i agree 70 percent of the earth is water.
Here the immigration check is tougher than becoming a father. long que then silly questions by him. Just felt why are we so crazy over this place? Venkat and Kishore were there to recieve us. They are being good to us ,, right from apartment booking to shopping for us were done by them and thier family .ajithesh gave a lot of stuff .
About chicago - its a cool city , not been anywhere but felt they have hell amout of time as they used to stop allowing another car first. Great appartment which has a river , swimming pool and good neighbours. chalo guys will keep u all updated!!!!

US MUSINGS -2
Hi all,
I dont know how to start this mail just like my mindset now. its like confusion all around.
One more week gone and its already like an year here for me,, let me share some of incidents and thoughts of this week.
Confusion :
In chicago i stay in a artificial river side apartment just close to my office. I can see my office across the road. But the funny part is I should walk 4 miles and 30 minutes to reach my office.I wish I could have jumped the road. Most of the time I get worried when a car is coming, firstly it feels he is coming in the wrong direction. Secondly I dont see any driver in the driver seat. oops everytime i realise its left hand side driving here.
Here driving Right side is Right and in India driving the Right side is not Right, this is the gap between India and US.
Rayliegh - First In Flight: , Wright brothers.
Ok last week was hell amount of work for me.I was in Rayliegh . The FAN testing went on smooth. LBSUP feature faced a lot problems with setup not ready atall. I had to work forthe setup here . The ppl in this country are very layed back guys. They dont want to work hard any more. I am sure this is going to change for them. Even the tissue paper roller works with a sensor.
The hotel where i was staying in rayliegh was excellent. it was of cottage style , the best part is we had tiffen, snacks and beer free in the happy hours.I saw Black people partying and it was mind blowing.
The motorola manager for NPI activities was Andy , he is a coool English guy. He always hated US ppl. He starts speaking which we will like to hear only once in a while ,, i mean to say such samskruta words. He is here from and 7 yrs and havent yet got the green card.
The other guy is Bob Robinson ( "Danger Bob Robinson"), manager of the account team . Even he is an english guy , too cool with professional managerial skills. The only few things matched between Andy and BOB was beer and chineese wife's. Bob loves to have Indian food , so he took us a couple of times to Indian restaurant and used to explain every item on the list, funny he hasnt come to India even once.
I visited North Carolina University to meet my friends, Indians everywhere hehehe. Bebes were cool . etc
Gandhigiri in the US:
Guys unbelievable to hear that ppl who were applyiing for greeen card used GANDHIGIRI to extend the application date. My moto manager ANDY was 2 months down for Green Card application so it was rejected and he had to wait 1 more year. All such people gathered and one of the Indian planned this Gandhigiri Idea of sending flowers (1 each) to the immigration office. Atlast it worked and the head of immigratiion department said thanks for the flowers in thier website. Thanks to Lage Raho Munnabai.
Ganesha Festival in Chicago:
Luckily i visited the hindu Venkateshwara temple in Chicago ,, man huge temple plot ,, everything inside. ganesha Pooja was happening as it was a festival on that day . atleast around 8 thousand ppl had joined. Very well arranged and purohita was doing pooja in sanskrit and explaining in English , he must be on H1 visa .
Kids were surprised by these activities, they were all given a small ganapati to do pooja. when purohita explained that it was ganapatis birthday today and we have to immerse him into water. Then one of the Kid said no body is thrown into water on thier birhtday ,, heehe every one laughed, Kids get complete accent here.
Atlast ganesha was taken and immersed into water after a boat drive in the temple's lake. We had nice prasadam , its a canteen in the temple . U can order ur Indian tiffen and pay.
Ironically Indians become more patriotic, religious as a hindu (no castism) but they always feel the insecurity from the fellow Indians.

hey GUYS - Missing you all
Long time I bugged u guys with experiences , hehe back again.
Encounter with David beckham :
Maaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnn I met DAVID BECKHAM and got an autograph from him in our office. He is the brand ambassador for Motorola and he had come for some meeting .
There was 30 minutes of fun and welcome to him in the conference room, he said he doesnt understand the word SOFTWARE, - so do we : hehehLater 20 minutes of words with us , every body had a question I asked- How was ROONY , he said " he must be good , Its been a long time I met him personally" He was in Black blazors and gals he really handsome ,more than expected , eventually he has grey hairs , just like me heheh.
Later he was presented a beautiful car. Unfortunately Photography was strictly prohibhited , only a few hidden videos. This is a memorable event to meGuys if U can login to MBC.mot.com , you can get the official function video.
Niagara Falls:
Two weeks before I visited a world famous water falls. Its a wonder.
We took train journey to Buffalo,NY and taxi to Niagara falls. Train journey was amazing , train had every facility , bar offcourse.The scenaries were beautifull, Cattles grazing and deep forest etc etc .
We went to the ",maid of the Mist'- here the boats takes close to the falls. Unforutnately it rained heavily and couldnt see much. Later I went and talked to the manager there and told them our feelings. He got convinced and we got free tickets again -- 25 $ each hehee.
Here we will can claim back everything if we are not satisfied, infact anything hehe Statutory Warning: Everything in US are not as good as they are hyped to.
Aquarium:
A week ago I had been to an aquarium , Bitti ticket Motorola employees ge , sponsors hehehe ,,,, Saw dolphin show and other good things and enjoyed.
Fall Colours:
Guys USA is lucky in every manner. Everything looks beautiful .
Its the mistake of Christopher Columbus , that bugger discovered America assuming it as India. If he had properly done his Job , today India would be developed and poweful country.
Winter is approaching here , the trees have started shedding leaves,,,, its a beautiful time to watch the trees with golden, yellow , black and green leaves,, Highways look amazing with coloured trees .
I am planning to visit a place - Door county -20 miles from here, it was where mohabatien was shot during this season .
Sweet lakes:
Chicago has 3rd largest lake - Lake Michigan ,,, its aroung 500*200 sq km area. Its a great blend of beautiful buildings and water source,, a photographer's menu .
I had been to a beach of this lake ,, You can play for hours as it is sweet water and it has all watersports facilities ,, i enjoyed everything.
Its halloween time here:,,
I know I dont need any special costume ,,
But see we celebrate dussera and deepavali now,, and these guys celebrate haloween and thanksgiving ,, all these festivals are against evil strength and thanking god for destroyin them ,,,,,,,,,,,somewhere everything is linked ,,

US MUSINGS -4 :
Hey GUYS Every Good thing has to come to an end - Ironically we realise everything was good only in the End !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Today is the last day here in US for now, I have packed all bags and the whole apartment is clean and clear. ( Feels bad , we humans get adapted to any home faster and get more posessive !!) 3 months passed by , it taught me a lot of things for life .
From some days it is snowing regularly and heavily here ,, snow fall is really good , though all the trees are bald they look beautiful with snow on them ,, Guys I did ICE SKATING - thanks to my father who had got me skates in 8th std. It was a great experience and real fun. Today it snowed heavily and there was Ice rain too , that the roads were mess ,, almost every one parked there cars to the side of the road and left ,,,,, see it will so skiddy and cars will go out of control ,,Kishore and myself lost control and rushed into a bush .
Oh another achievement was we stood in front of the circuit_city store all night for thanksgiving ,, man it was -5C all night ,,, It was a mad rush here ,, only 10 laptops will be given for a deal , so everyones stands from evening to morning. We were 7th and got a laptop unfortunately I didnt get anything . Here in the Q i found all kind of ppl ,, real fun all night man ,, I fought synous problem that night ,, i think I won over it ( the next day it took over me )
One more thing here I had only Indian food, never had a burger forcibly , daily some chicken item in one of the 3 good families here( Venkat, Kishore, Ajithes) ,, I appreciate them all for feeding us so much ,,I think i will miss them all a lot,,
I will even miss the Indian food in US. Lots of stories to bug u guys sometime ,,,,,,
I am really looking forward to meet you guys sooner ,
